What’s new?

Sometimes we got pipes going from floor to the ceiling. People usually cover it by boxing. Then, usually plaster and paint. More creative people paint on different colour. Tilers… they tile it ????
Small, ceramic tiles 16 cm x 5.5 cm with mitre cut with “jasmine” grout.
I think it looks better than just another boxing.

Customer decided to do not use trims, so steps and all outer corners were cut on 45 degrees. It gave a very nice, traditional, natural look.
Tiled skirtings make please even more cosy.

Nope, it’s my living room.
This is a final look of a really big project.
– Repairing and self leveling the floor
– decoupling matt do prevent future cracks
– 2 cm thick thermal boards
– 150W underfloor heating
– self leveler to protect UFH
– tiles with tiled skirtings
I used 60 cm x 15 cm wood looking tiles from Tile Giant in herringbone pattern and for balance adhesive from Topps Tiles Grout “ash” is from BAL Tiling
Time to rest.

This is something new. New build. With other houses “still in progress” around.
I was asked to put tiles on floor in 3 rooms – 2 bathrooms and one toilet.
I had to remove toilets – some extra practice as a plumber. And then install back with drilling new holes in tiles.
In bathrooms, because of wooden floor I put #NoMorePly 6mm cement boards to prevent potential breaking.
