Here’s a recently completed project featuring a classic diagonal checkerboard pattern using 10×10 cm ceramic tiles – a design rooted in Victorian-era aesthetics, perfect for hallways and small spaces alike.
The central field combines black and cream tiles laid at a 45° angle for enhanced depth and visual flow, framed with a contrasting border of solid dark tiles to reinforce symmetry and define the space.

And here we got a big project. Above 30 sqm of flooring. Old tiles have been removed to find concrete / plywood / cement boards below. Floor has been prepared and then a real fun started – nice 30 cm x 60 cm gres tiles in a brick pattern. Set on Kerakoll H40 gel.
I used very light “brooklyn” grout and silicon from BAL
